Rudder repair and rebuild

We have designed fixtures which expressly fulfill the requirement of aligning a rudder.  Typically, unlike other controls, a rudder fixture must “center” the rudder in a fixed position as it is being reassembled.  Rudders are designed in various configurations.  Some rudders use corrugated skins, others utilize sheet metal incorporating two and three piece designs.   Some, such as the Cessna 340 series use double thin skins of 2024-T3 epoxied together along with AD type structural rivets.  RJ Dauhn Aircraft is equipped to address and  rebuild most aviation rudders which also include honeycomb designs found in Beechcraft and Grumman Aircraft.
