About R.J. Dauhn Aircraft, LLC

In 1976 “Econo Flight” was formed by R.J Dauhn. It was a full service facility which also incorporated metal fabrication and repair. It was soon obvious metal work relating to aircraft was in extreme demand. R.J, possessing a machinist background, designed and fabricated equipment necessary for this operation.

By 1998 the operation was moved to a much larger facility. An apprentice program was also incorporated into the operation. One can not “hire” an aircraft metal technician; there are precious few; they simply have to be trained on the job. It was at this time “ RJ Dauhn Aircraft” was formed. Our website “rjdauhnaircraft.com” gives a “thumb sketch” of our overall operation.

RJ Dauhn Aircraft's “claim to fame”, so to speak, is the ability to fulfill the needs which many times are unavailable elsewhere. Many parts are simply no longer available; we can comply with many of these needs.
